bali trip chapter 4 - kuta town

next i will share about the town where i am staying in.. this town is called Kuta town.. and it was huge.. unlike small town.. travelling by leg... we seriously need about 2 to 3 hours before can finish the town. just walking.. didn plus shopping yet.. unfortunely.. we were out there by foot as well.. but we hav separated our tour to the town into 2 days and we didn finish visitng all the town area as.. we are lazy.. haha.. and we just pick on places that actually hav cheap stalls.. but still things was not as cheap as wat we saw in other places..
but still tour guide told us that kuta town was best for teenager that looking for fun and excitement.. and it was a budget saving place as well.. if we really wanna enjoy and relax.. he suggest us nusar dua.. he gurantee that couple without kids thta went there will back home wif 3 person.. haha..

~the town~

this is the monumen that the government had build to remember those victims that die from terrorist attack 5 years ago.. the bombing.. our tour guide did tell us the actual story behind this.. when the incident happen.. 3 bomb was place in bali and the biggest one that placed in 'sari club' casue all the dead.. according to our tour guide.. he said that people couldn jump off the building and palm of many human melted on the building window as they were trying to escape.. when we imagine.. the image become really terrifying rite? as the bomb was placed using a van.. he did say that the taxi driver behind the van actually lost his head and leaft only the body in the taxi.. this bomb killed tousand of people and the most is australian.. 88 of them.. it was so terrible and it was great to se that there weren any malaysian involved.. but according to the tour guide again.. american especially australian was their target.. the club that was bomb were oly visited by the foreigners.. that is why so many of them killed..

then is the beach oppsoite our hotel.. well, from the direction we stay.. we can nvr see sun-rse.. only sun set we can see.. but there wasn even a night that i will be there at the beach tht giv me such opportunity also.. haha..

well, this beach was famous.. according to the tour guide.. many foreigner will come here for sun-bathing.. and the local domestic people called that places "sumur".. at 1at i idn know wat they meant also.. then further explanation was given.. it was a short form for "susu berjemur".. lol.. cause foreigner will sun bathing there topless.. haha.. it become popular spot too.. haha..

then it's the surfing activities.. well, many beach in bali is suitable for surfing as the wave and tide were kinda high.. thjis trip didn give me any chance to try all this.. i promise myself to drop by for surfing and other water activities if i come back and not visiting their temple and stuff.. haha.. =)
