bangkok trip - day 2

after all the night activities on the 1st day.. we start our adventure in the bangkok city on the 2nd day.. at 1st before reaching bangkok, i planned to visit floating market.. something famous in bangkok? but when i was there, the tour guide told me that the floating market which is use to be a famous tourist spot have been close and build highway.. to go to the floating market, it will take few hours from bangkok as it is now situated outside the bangkok city..
so the 2nd day we start with the tour around bangkok city.. we visited few places in the bus itself, didn have the chance to get down from the vehicle to snap a few picture and stuff.. well, it's statue afterall.. but mostly wanted to snap picture as memory i guess.. =)

the 1st stop we make it at erawan something.. it's a place that famous for it 4-sided face god.. if i translate it wrongly, pardon me.. cause in mandarin it is called 'si mien fo'.. well, it is said that this 4 sided face god bless in 4 diff aspect depending on what u wanted to pray for but mostly when people go they will pray for all 4 side.. the 1st face we pray for SAFETY, 2nd face for WEALTH, 3rd face for RELATION and the 4th is for AVOIDING 'SIU YAN'.. we did pray there.. it was my 1st time but thailand is famous for all the blessing and gos.. people travel everywhere to thailand for this purpose..

then, we depart to the 2nd destination.. i forgot the name, but it is one of the famous temple as well.. this temple is diff with it craving.. it is unique and beautiful.. really beautiful.. i didn manage to climb to the top as i feel the time given is not enough and it is steep.. i didn wear a proper attire as well for the climbing.. but i admire the workmanship of the temple.. it capture people heart.. must be a lot of effort putting in to build this temple i guess.. we went to the other side of the river for this temple.. cross the river with a boss.. per person i think is RM0.30..

after visiting the temple, we are guided to places that sell local products of thailand??.. haha.. it is common for all the tourists to travel to this type of places.. some might say it's a waste of time as they aren interested in purchasing any of it la.. well, of course it might be boring as it wasn something really special that attract my heart as well.. =) guys in the tour are complaining as we travel as they think it's a waste of time.. haha..

first destination is the gem production de.. it is famous in bangkok.. i think i went for the same thing in chiang mai.. so it didn interest me much as well.. though, the gem seen in the gallery are definitely beautiful.. really beautiful.. =) just my age, isn it too much for me to buy a gem?? haha.. i didn wanna be the REAL SHOPAHOLIC..

then, the 2nd place we went is the gallery that sell stuff make with animal skins such as crocodile, ostrich, horse tail wo.. and sting ray fish.. this is the famous 4 la.. the rest i kinda forget.. hehe.. it might be really good in term of quality and seeing this side i might consider buying it, but.. the design make from all this animal skins.. look really like aunty le.. how to buy le? lol.. i am still a lil young.. haha.. mayb few more years la.. i will b back.. =)

then the last one is the honey garden.. well, i didn know why but deep in my memory, i feel that every places i went, they will bring me to the place they produce honey.. every country or place say they have the best honey.. but how we know which is the best le?? haha.. but one of the man did manage to convince me in buying.. but after seeing the price.. i hesitate.. haha.. mayb next time la.. =)

then, we going to have our time of our own.. SHOPPING.. haha.. along the journey, the tour guide told us about the fake money and the awareness we have to had during the walk.. then he show us all the unbelievable fake money.. so no standard man.. do la professional a lil.. the fake money in bangkok or i should say thailand have all the cartoon character on the money.. i know.. wow rite? at least msia is more pro la.. it is hard to tell the money is fake.. sigh..

they drop us at chatuchak.. where is a famous place for shopping and it is huge.. believe it.. it is.. it is like 10 times as big as petaling street.. i didn 'kwa chang' de.. i really mean it.. it is that huge and inside they sell so many things.. from pet (fish, dog,cat), plants and pottery, all the bedsheet and curtain.. clothings, bags, accessories.. seriously.. this is more to name it and u will find it.. but it is just huge.. extra huge that u might end up 2 days in there to finish everything?? i didn.. cause the temperature is like 40 degree.. where i almost fainted there.. i only visited few hours and a small part and i say bye bye.. haha.. but i did buy something in this few hours.. i know.. what a shopper rite?? =P

it took me an hour to escape the chatuchak market because it is so huge.. then i move to their monorail.. it is so tiring man..

i think this sky transportation is a lil similar to our monorail.. it is just their is bigger and much stable compared to monorail.. i could say it is something like lrt in malaysia la.. in thailand, they called it bts.. i didn know what izzit stand for.. as a new comer to bangkok, we didn know the system.. like malaysia they have those vending machine for u to buy ticket and there are also counter.. but weird is u aren suppose to buy ticket at the counter.. the counter is just for u to change syilling and please.. go queue and buy ur ticket at the vending machine.. shock man.. as a new comer we didn know bout it.. the lady speak so loud through the mic catching everyone's attention.. PAI SEH..

after half day under the hot sun.. we agree in getting into an air-conditioned place.. we went to the central world mall.. something like that la.. i am not sure.. WHY?? cause in the book i bring along, they say that in central world, they have MOS BURGER.. the burger in singapore that i hunger for?? so there we go.. we were worry that it is a diff burger with the same name.. haha.. but nvrm, we decided to try.. hehe..

when we reach there, there is some kind of artist de event la.. so it is crowded with a lot of people.. i dunno who they are but being ke po.. i did manage to find out that they are PUMP.. thailand group i guess.. but i dun un anything.. whole event is run with thai and so is all the writting.. nvrm.. i just see cute guy anyway.. they are cute.. =)

dun mind the artist.. hungry so we look for food.. our mos burger.. and we found it.. but a lil weird la.. cause i remember the sign of the mos burger in singapore is red in colour.. when i reach in front of the shop.. it is green in colour.. i started to doubt if it is the same mos burger.. before stepping into it.. we browse through the menu.. it is the same.. it have the same burger i have in singapore.. so i think it's the same la.. so we walk inside..

being in a country like malaysia.. we do not have burger in pork.. so of course we choose one that is pork and the other we choose the new flavor which is the beef de.. but i remember seeing it 2 years ago in singapore?? so i doubt if it's really new.. haha.. after eating only we realise that they have those special de which they use vege to be the burger?? i dunno how to explain la.. regret didn call for that.. but.. singapore.. wait for me.. going there soon.. haha..

after filling our empty stomach, we walk around the mall of course.. it is fun anyway.. seeing things in thailand.. especially when they write everything in thai.. i dun understand at all.. wahaha..

of course beside mos burger, there is another reason why we insist of visiting central world la.. because of a brand name 'naraya'.. it's a shop that sell bag.. it is a personal brand of bangkok and it can only be found in bangkok.. it is not widen marketise yet i guess.. but it's the famous shop that must visit when go to bangkok.. so here we are.. i could only use the word 'wow' to describe the shop.. it trigger all my shopaholic symptom.. i wanted to buy almost every bags in the shop.. it is so hard for me to choose what i really wan.. cause i wanted ALL.. haha.. it's really a great shop man.. i wanted to take picture of the shop.. but the bodyguard say i cant.. so i only manage to capture the sign of the shop... wahaha.. but i did manage to buy several stuff there.. a few hundred is what i spent in there.. serious shopping rite?? haha..

after shopping in naraya.. i could actually declare broke man.. i seriously left with not much of money.. 300bath is what we left.. me and ling.. so instead of continue shopping.. we went back to our hotel.. on our way.. we pick up some interesting food of bangkok lo.. i could say i seriously fall in love with the foods in bangkok.. cause it is damn nice.. haha.. spicy and sometime sweet.. i dun like the sweet part la.. but all the spicy part.. i love it.. hehe..

thailand is definitely heaven for foods and shopping.. i crave for all this man.. my only regret is i didn have the chance to try the sotong bakar... lol.. i couldn find it after i missed it on the 1st day.. should have buy it that day.. haih..
