Eventhough it is my senior that got promoted, I am pretty happy for her. Reason being I see advantage for myself from her promotion. Well, there is no way for me to climb to accountant position like immediately. I will need years of working and also my ACCA qualification or even my MIA membership in order for me to be a qualified accountant. And I am not either one yet. There is still along way ahead waiting for me to choose before I can reach this final outcome =)
I am happy because I report directly to her and she is doing most of the controlling stuff like budgeting and also lay an eye on the operating expenses versus budget. More than financial accounting though I am still doing on them as I am a junior. So ya, all payment is done by me. Somehow I feel AR is more difficult to do comparing with AP. But I know I will have my chance soon. Rotating to do work is something my boss agree during the interview. I hope it is just not an empty talk. well, i am looking forward to learn more, to do more. to hold more responsibility. Way to go chyeli =)
Today having a good mood.. look like the ‘hiking’ trip I am having right now are having a smooth road instead of steep road =)
